We have published many books over the years. There is a Walkabout series, a Famous Folk series and publications covering other aspects of the towns history, people, buildings and events.
This book, written by committee member Sandy Elder, was originally published in 1998. Sadly, the ABC cinema on Kirkcaldy High Street closed a year later. This caused many people to take an interest in not only the ABC but all the other cinemas the town once had and the book sold well. It was recently suggested that KCS publish it again.
It is currently being revised and updated with more information especially about the ABC cinema, originally called The King's Theatre, currently under renovation by new owners who intend to open it as a live music venue
